MinSeparation defines the minimum distance between barcodes of identical value and vertical alignment in 1/300^th of an inch. If the distance between two barcodes of same value and on the same alignment is less than MinSeparation then the toolkit assumes that it is a single barcode that has been split into 2 parts by a problem in the scanning process.
